You can see by the original photograph supplied by the publisher that the colors were very blue, it was originally shot during the day and there was no detail in the sky. In the final art the time of day was changed to early evening, the cool blues were changed to warm tones, and the lights were lit up in the street. Two figures were added walking in the street scene. The detail at the left shows the clouds added to the sky for a more mysterious feel.
